A quick guerrilla fashion shoot with Maria.

Even though the Northern California Cherry Blossom Festival was winding down for the day, the area was still pretty crowded. In the end we found a nice brick wall along a service alley and set up camp there.

I was shooting only film that day and had originally taken the photos on Kodak Portra 160 film. However, I had under-blixed the negatives during development so they turned out with a strong cyan cast. In the end I converted the photos to black and white after scanning them.

The photos turned out well in black and white, thanks to Maria’s black outfit. Overall a fun and casual shoot on a lazy festival day.
