Film + Street Fashion: Jade

Film fashion at the port

A quick street fashion shoot with Jade at the Port of San Francisco. I was asked to photograph her for a wig contest, so off we went to find a location that would be interesting and not too distracting. In the end I chose the Port of San Francisco since it's easy to access and there usually isn't a lot of people around to get in the shot.

I used both digital and film for this shoot. The digital photos were for the contest submission, mainly portraits highlighting the wig and in color. The film shots were more for me. Just fun and off the cuff. On the way back, we made a detour to a fishing pier and took some photos there with a derelict pier in the bay as a backdrop.

Looking back I wish I had gotten more water reflection shots or gotten more of the warehouse loading docks. Next time!
