Into the Wicked Wood

For this gothic fashion shoot, I had the perfect location in mind. Earlier in the year, I was scouting for beaches along California coast and I ran across Fitzgerald Marine Reserve located in Moss Beach, CA. As a beach, it’s pretty terrible. However, the forested part of the park is pretty amazing! It has this creepy or enchanted look to it.

The forest was also varied in environments. Parts of it we lush green, while others were essentially devoid of vegetation. It contrasted very well with the black dress.

I shotΒ with film this time around because I felt that it would enhance the mood. Since I could take my time, I brought along the Fuji GX680IIIS and tripod as my camera of choice. Despite the camera being extremely unwieldy, it is a pleasure to use, and there was plenty of space to setup my tripod.

I will definitely be coming back to location again! I hope that you enjoy the photos!
